Travel with us to the World Cup in France!
From Friday 8 September 2023 to Saturday 28 October, the Rugby World Cup will be in France. And you can be there!
In collaboration with P1 Travel, Rugby Spirit offers you the opportunity to visit the following match during the World Cup:
England – America 2
This match is on Saturday 23 September 2023, kick-off at 17.45h at the Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille and is offered in combination with bus trip and overnight stay for €449,- . Optional is a rugby clinic for children by top players.
Two-day trip to the World Cup
Because it is a game that ends late, we opt for an overnight stay. On Saturdays we therefore leave in the morning by bus to Lille. Lille is about a 3 hour drive away, so we will arrive well before the start of the race.
The places in the stadium are category 3 (short side), from where we have a good view of the game.
After a great game we gather at the agreed place and take the bus to Gent (1 hour drive), where we spend the night. The next day we go home.
Who is this trip for?
Anyone can book this trip, from young to old. Please note that if you are under 18, someone must be with you over 18. The trip is on an individual basis, which means that we arrange the following: bus trip with multiple pickup and drop-off places in the Netherlands, the race of course and an overnight stay in Gent (Belgium). In Lille itself you are free to go and stand wherever you want, as long as you follow the rules and the agreed times. In short: we as an organization are not responsible.
Who will be England’s opponent?
From June 2021, the qualifying campaign will be played in the Americas. Argentine has already been placed. In several matches, it will be determined who will eventually be allowed to go to the biggest rugby event in the world. Third (out of four) and perhaps already decisive pool match, it promises to be a spectacle.

The stadium: Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille
The match takes place in the impressive Stade Pierre Mauroy stadium, where lille football club, among others, play its matches, the Davis Cup final has been played and now one of the stadiums of the Rugby World Cup. There is room for more than 50,000 spectators in the stadium with sliding roof. A beautiful setting for a unique experience.
Optional: clinic for children
For children aged 8-18, Andy Darlington will provide a rugby clinic, along with other top players. This takes place at a rugby complex in Gent. The extra costs for this are 30 euros per person. The clinic lasts 3 hours and is on Sunday morning from 9-12 o’clock.

Because it is a bus trip, if there is not enough enthusiasm (less than 40 people) an alternative solution will be sought for the bus trip (for example, own transport or smaller bus).
