Internationals, players from the premier class and players from the NTC will be there to offer you an unforgettable experience. Keep an eye on our socials and this website for the complete program.
Who is the rugby camp of 2023 for?
This camp is for anyone who really likes rugby between the ages of 6 and 17. Whether you are already very experienced or have just started, there is a place for everyone. Because you are classified by age and level, we make sure that you will learn a lot. Of course we will also make sure that you join your friends in the group.
For the older group, the rugby camp is focused on high performance. For the younger children we also do other games and activities besides rugby.
With or without overnight stay?
The rugby clinic is for children of the turven, benjamins, minis, cubs, juniors and colts. From the age of 6 you can participate in the rugby camp without overnight stay. From the age of 8 you can also stay the night. We will sleep in large tents, where boys and girls sleep separately and you sleep with your peers. There is also an extensive evening program, where we will do fun things. Think of a cozy campfire with marshmallows, an exciting scavenger hunt and a cinema night.
Because there are children from all over the Netherlands and Belgium, we start the overnight camp on Sunday 23 July at 4 pm. Then we will do fun introductory activities, we eat together and we have a great evening program. On Monday, the rugby program really starts!
The day camp is daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The overnight camp is from Sunday afternoon 4 pm to Friday afternoon 4.30 pm
How many days will you participate?
The rugby camp lasts six days, or without an overnight stay five days. But you can also choose to participate for only 3 days (Monday to Wednesday). For turven and benjamins we recommend three days. For all other children, we recommend five or six days.
We start at 9.30 am with an introduction and warm-up. The exercises are 20 minutes and the trainers are at a fixed exercise, giving you tips from different trainers. That makes it extra instructive! In the morning we have a break twice and in the afternoon too. The lunch break takes about 45 minutes. During the breaks we do fun games for the atmosphere and team building, there is an official press conference with the top players and more is told about the road to success.
The rugby day ends with fun, fanatical party forms. Can't you wait for it to start?
Really getting better and having fun
Fun in rugby is paramount in this rugby camp. Fun is to a large extent in really getting better and developing yourself, but also relaxing in the breaks, fun team spirit activities and challenging activities.
Team spirit is the indispensable ingredient for victory. Our rugby philosophy reflects this thought. Team building and skills training go hand in hand. That's why rugby league is more than just training.
We will stay the whole day at Rugby club Roosendaal. This beautiful complex offers all the possibilities for a successful rugby camp.
If the measures change or if the rugby camp can't go ahead due to the weather conditions, you are guaranteed to get your money back.
Follow Rugby Spirit on Instagram and Facebook and see which top players we will add to the clinics in the coming period!
